During the XVII Conference of the Lithuanian Sociological Association, organized by the Sociology Institute of the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences together with the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences on September 4–5, 2025, the annual awards were presented.
The Prof. Juozas Leonavičius Award for contributions to the development of Lithuanian research data resources, specifically for creating the relevant and widely used survey data collections “Research on Environmental Attitudes and Behavior” and “Research on Threat Perception and Societal Resilience,” was granted to Prof. Dr. Aistė Balžekienė and Prof. Dr. Audronė Telešienė from the “Civil Society and Sustainable Development” research group at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)!
